Help to Shape the Future of the EPPP: Participate in the Optional Job Task Analysis Survey
BSRB LPs, LMLPs, and LCPs are Encouraged to Complete the Optional Job Task Analysis Survey by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards by September 29, 2025!
The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) has issued a call to participate in ASPPB’s Job Task Analysis of the Practice of Psychology (JTA) before the survey concludes on September 29, 2025. This is a crucial undertaking that will help define the future of professional psychology.
ASPPB is conducting its JTA Survey of the Practice of Psychology—an essential step in updating the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)®. This process only happens once every 7 to 10 years and directly shapes the examination specifications and content used to evaluate the knowledge and skills required for licensure.
Why Your Voice Matters
Your response is vital to ensure the EPPP remains a fair, relevant, and valid measure of competence in the field. The JTA survey asks about the tasks you perform, the knowledge and skills required to do them, and your professional background. Your input helps ensure the examination accurately reflects both current psychological practice and the perspectives of today’s practicing psychologists.
